About The Design
Sold in sets of two, the Stainless Steel Wine Stoppers are designed to complement our Stainless Vacuum Pump (sold separately). The stopper’s one way rubber valve ensures the air will not re-enter your wine bottle thereby slowing down the oxidation process and preserving the taste of your favorite wine. The stylish design of the stopper makes it the perfect gift for the wine connoisseur in your life or special wedding couple.
About The Materials We Use
There are a variety of rubbers used in the making of bottle stops. Our Stainless Steel Wine Stoppers are made with cellular rubber. Cellular rubber is unique in that the cells of the rubber are closed making the rubber lightweight, flexible and buoyant. Use of cellular rubber ensures the bottle stop remains durable and compliant, keeping the air out of the bottle and preserving the wine for later use. Our wine stoppers also contains German composition of 18/8 austenitic stainless steel (18% Chromium, 8% Nickel). This composition of stainless steel is significantly thicker gauge than typical applications of its kind. Our stainless steel does not require any coating or other corrosion protection in that, with the assistance of oxygen, a layer on the surface naturally rebuilds itself when scratched.
