About the Artwork
Since its inception, the creators of the Shadowbox Mailbox have stated that, “the design of the shadowbox is all about the art”, which still holds true. Each artwork panel is unique in its scene, and theme. The artwork panels are constructed of 12 gauge galvanized steel, which makes the panel, strong and durable. It will not bend, or break under normal usage. In addition, the edges have been rounded, so there are no sharp points.

About the Materials
Entirely hand-made in the USA, this 16 gauge galvanized steel mailbox is built to last. The entire mailbox, artwork panel, and background panel are all constructed of Galvanized Steel. All hardware and hinges are constructed of stainless steel. The hardware is powder coated to match the finish of the artwork and mailbox.

About the Finish
Blink Manufacturing goes above and beyond to make sure their product finishes are strong, durable, and able to withstand the harsh outdoors. The first step involves cleaning the entire unit, to ensure the surface is free of dirt, chemicals, or any other material which would negatively affect the longevity of the final finish. The second step is a hot dip galvanization, which adds a layer of zinc, which creates a rust proof material. The third step is to clean the product again, to ensure the final powder coat has good adhesion. The final process is the actual powder coat finish. The powder coat’s used by blink, are all thoroughly tested for outdoor usage, and are chosen for their brilliant colors, and their strength. The mailbox and artwork are available in four (4) colors, and the background panels are available in eight (8) colors.

About the Design
The sturdy modular construction of the Blink Shadowbox Wall Mount Mailbox provides a full 3.5 inches in depth which easily accommodates mail retrieval, even at the bottom. The lid is secured with a piano hinge and overlaps the mailbox to protect against moisture. The width and height of the Blink Shadowbox Wall Mount Mailbox was fully researched and is built to readily accept the size of today’s large catalogs without bending or warping.

About the Optional Newspaper Holder
The Newspaper “hooks” are constructed of 14 gauge galvanized steel to provide a sturdy home base for your newspaper deliveries. The straps are 1”W and hang below the mailbox a total of six (6) inches. The cut-out and smooth curved end of each hook compliments the artwork design and makes the newspaper holder a perfect complement to the Shadowbox Wall Mount Mailbox.
